Went in today and had a tutorial with Justin and Neil. In the morning Justin had a look at all our ideas and discussed whether they would be a good idea or not. I told everyone my idea and he seemed to quite like it. I need to make the tone of voice quite ironic and make it visually more exciting as statistics and numbers are actually really boring.

We had to present using a poster that we made around our subject.

I'm thinking about really bright colored text on a sleek dark background, i don't know after effects too well but i think it has gradients, so really polished black and silver or black and white background so words are still legible on them.

I had a look at some tutorials for after effects and i've started working on them.

AE Tutorials is quite a good one actually, and there is a few on youtube as well that are quite useful. So far I'm not finding it too difficult but i still need to get my head around compositions and camera angles.

Neil did a tutorial with us on Flash. He created a character in Illustrator and we had to bring it into flash and put them in to the libary and so on, and they ended up moving across the screen. It was basic stuff but I still enjoyed it.

I need to do my storyboards for next week as well, but I think i'll be fine since i know in my head more or less what i want it to look like.
