Drawing and Mark Making

Today we started drawing and mark making, Neil basically got us to get some different pieces of colour paper, and draw different pictures of Poole, using a scalpel.

I wanted to show regeneration by using a black glossy piece of paper with some vibrant pink cut outs of ropes, lamps and seagulls. I cut up a few different things, and cut out the letters of Poole to show that old things can be depicted as younger using those two colours.

It went really well, it was the first time I cut out pictures with a scalpel and it was hard to get the hang of it at the beginning, but it was alright in the end.
